Woolgatherer (n): ‘one who indulges in idle or absent-minded daydreaming’; it also means ‘one who gathers wool’.
I do both!
I rescue old woollen and cashmere jumpers from charity shops and transform them into felted wool. Then comes the daydreaming as I contemplate what to make from this natural, durable, versatile material. Usually a bag and maybe a bracelet or a phone cover or maybe something else altogether. Every item is a unique creation, handmade with care in Notting Hill, London.
